Paradise

Tear the pictures off the wall Try to end it all Hear the screaming down the hall As paradises fall. Redemption from this rage, A battle up on stage Like a lion in his cage She is fazed. Gazing to her mother, She knows she never loved her. Stab a knife into her father, For raping his own daughter. Burning fires through their hearts This family's torn apart. And there's nothing we can do For Her, Him, Me or You . . . We're confused. One stands above a bridge Sleeping, are her kids. Drop a stone into the water Her face is getting hotter. Will she jump into her death? Or turn around instead? Her family sheds wet tears For all the wasted years. The boy kills all his dreams For obliterating schemes Using people, LET THEM HURT Throw their feelings in the dirt. A younger girl feels so alone. She never had a home. Some people hurt her deep. That she can hardly speak. Crimson is her blood. A dripping endless love. And paradises fall Were they ever there at all?? There's no tears that we can weep. So close your eyes and go to sleep. In the morning we will rise. With itchy blood shot eyes. And we'll remember all this pain, With only happiness to gain... ... We'll never be the same. ... We'll never be the same.
