You've created such a peaceful image here...love it :) It's so cool that your uncle and grandpa use to work in Romania. They must have taught you some words in Romanian because you can speak pretty good. I'm living in Cluj Napoca.( I don't know if you've heard of it) Do you know in what town they used to work in Romania?Multumesc si eu pentru comentariile tale frumoase:) So nice to be able to talk in my native language with someone here at Soup. Toate cele bune si tie, Emilia

You paint this image so colorfully, the reader feels like they are there with you enjoying the beautiful birds, Gert. I am traveling this week and should be in NJ by next weekend. Along my trip, autumn foliage can be found everywhere...and maybe if I look closely enough, I'll see some "Bright birds twitter" among the trees. Love, Carolyn

Enjoyed your descriptive write about Mandau.Reads like a beautiful place.I am glad that I chose this one to read todayI was encouraged by your kind comments.I do not speak Gaelic.I used a translater to translate from English .I think that one time I saw a Bird Of Paradise in a zoo type setting but I can't remember for sure..I have seen on tv.The write was written about a cedar type tree on a shore somewhere in the world..In the picture of a full moon night the tree was like that bird to me..Sara

God in His love has provided for all his creatures and if we'd only take time to observe. Love this Gert. Poor little Birdie was probably desperately in need to build a home real fast. Love, Audrey Thanks for the kind comment, also.

I've been trying for a long time to translate something from my native language but it doesn't seem to come out right. I don't know how you do it. Great job with this poem! Emilia
