Painted Words- Kitty In the Garden
"I dream of painting and then I paint my dream."

My kitty cat is fluffy grey- an indoor cat,
I never let her outside except on the porch,
but in a dream I am with her in the garden,
among all the painted flowers and foliage.
First, I paint the emerald trees and grass,
and then flowers of blue with yellow centers.
and purple here and there of many kinds,
there were pink ones and orange ones too.
Above the sky is azure blue and the sun shines,
a thousand birds are singing in the trees,
and bees are buzzing and colorful butterflies drift,
the breeze is gentle and whispers in the branches.
And in the center of all this is a happy kitty,
a grey beauty with green eyes exploring,
then, a blue bird is suddenly being watched,
but, no fear my kitty cat is no bird killer.
Oh, I am there too a girl with long long hair,
wandering and picking a rainbow bouquet,
while keeping an eye on my frisky little girl,
is there anything more wonderful to dream.
Well, I am no Van Gogh but I do like to paint,
with words especially kitty cat and my garden,
sadly, kitty will never wander alone outside,
but she can in my dreams that become art.
