Oh, this is just so dreamy and beautiful, Michelle. I adore every verse of exquisite imagery as each line unfolds and evolves into the next to come together in vivid life upon the page and within my imagination. Moments in a sacred place captured with your golden pen. "Painted" is a perfect title for this sensual feast for the senses anchored by a sense of belonging and appreciation. Great last line too! :) A winner of course! Warmest wishes, my inspiring friend.. ~Susan

Very nice spring poem, Michelle. Pink has a dual meaning, childhood for light pink and romance for hot pink. Spring is the time for both:)

For me, the colors of spring are pink, yellow and green, (with a splash of lavender thrown in) thank you for your visit and comment, Daniel~
