Pain - Attention - Choice - Life

~Pain~ She has no role models Her mind is filled with sorrows Buries her pains in liquor bottles Dreads the thought of her tomorrows… ~Attention~ She craves it like a junkie Jumps in and out of bed with men Like a wild monkey Nothing more than their flunky… ~Choice~ She never had one Taken before she could run Understood by none She went for the gun… ~Life~ She wanted it to end Her bleeding heart would not mend She prayed God’s mercy he would extend As her suicide note she penned… Lay

This is so true..The hurting child within that did not receive the emotional needs met as a child seeks it in the wrong way as an adult..Great topic on which you have composed your work..I am glad that I chose this one to read this morn..About my work "At Night Thinking", my husband has been in the hospital to have a knee joint replacement..I stayed with him except for one afternoon that I came home for one and a half hours to get a shower feed the dog and cats and check the mail..Sara
