I like this one. Those owls are so quiet. There was one that lived in a tree close to a place we lived for about a year and if I went out at night walking around it could swoop down and be right on me before I knew it was there. Enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

I like being drawn in by your intriguing title, then how that title helps answer the mystery of whose wings are whispering. "Waiting to rise with the moon" is a perfect way to describe the nocturnal majesty of the owl. Getting chills with your admirable skill of concise imagery.

Michelle, I adore the quiet vibrancy and the deep, rich mystique of this exquisite haiku. Every line leads me to visualize the brisk, twilight scene perfectly. Such a grand last line! Your gifted pen is ever admired, dear poetess. Warmest wishes, my inspiring friend.. ~Susan

Amazing to me that you've actually told a story in a mere 17 image-laden syllables. Bravo, Michelle! Whispering Winds, gw
