Overlapping Universes

there’s a universe bound to each person we meet big invisible bubbles around compact little bodies taking up no space just overlapping clouds colliding as we haul our baggage holding on to our history protecting personal space as if treasuring our burden the magic only happens when souls connect in trust vulnerability exposed illusion of distances shattered Published in my 24-page photo/anthology book ~WHAT IF THIS IS ALL THERE IS~ 2023 AP: 2nd place 2021 Submitted on May 5, 2018 for contest EARLY MAY PREMIERE sponsored by BRIAN STRAND Soundcloud used by the church 'Inspire Saint James Clerkenwell' in London, England to promote a sermon series on Connected Life - June 2021

Ingenious! I smile thinking how this one might befuddle all the fancy physicists with their "parallel universes" and all that rubbish. (I have a right to call it rubbish, by the way: my wife is a physicist, I read Scientific American cover-to-cover--and we both say PU! to parallel universes. (PU and Winnie the Pooh too!) I like your universes much, much better. Those bubbles are real, as is the baggage!! Kudos, Line. ~ Gershon
