still gray a few dull leaves holding on something about trees gleeful branches aflutter with ephemeral wind even without sun standing stoic trees they fascinate me décor of lichen on weathered bark deep roots, unseen, sustaining this idyllic frame a life without trees, to me gray and dull contrast a spring day with a choir of leaves my heart sings when I look at trees

Beautiful and inspiring. The property I live on I bought many years ago because of the trees it held and no other reason. A gorgeous piece of writing
