Over You

My face is the surface of the ocean So much emotion But you still can’t see the depths This skin and muscle tough like the mountains But you don’t see how these bones crumble When you walk all over Walk all over me But you don’t see how I bleed When you walk all over Walk all over until I’m battered and blue Keep on stepping Coz I’m over you My back can carry so much burden But your weight is the straw I can’t hold, anymore My heart beats strong But my love is for me alone You can’t see how I’ve grown When you walk all over Walk all over me But this time I am free When you walk all over Walk all over until I’m shiny and new Keep on stepping Coz I’m over you
