Notes About The Poem

True story from my son-in-law. His basement is not where I'd want to be alone..deer heads and a bobcat!!

Out on a Lim

The bobcat is following gram.
She senses lit eyes that won’t scram.
     There’s feet on the path,
     A gun with grand’s wrath.
The bobcat on wall, he can’t scram.

- We rented a cabin in the mountains once... it was full of animals on the walls and other places... not something I would want in my house - "my" animals walk alive in my garden (and eat my flowers) - hugs

When I was a child, our next door neighbor had a deer head. I’ve still never been partial to seeing them on the walls. I guess to each his own. ((hugs))

You were inspired, I enjoyed where that inspiration took your pen. So far, I got nothing but know inspiration is always brewing in me and trust it will deliver something fully perked, maybe not in time though!! No worries. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Where in the world has Gershon stored her name for so many decades? With a gun to my head, I couldn't come up with it. He has an impressive remember-er. CayCay
