Out of Touch

Wow! You're laughing!' Why? What's so funny? Oh, I don't know. Something is. I can't explain it. Gosh! You're crying! Why? Why are you crying? Oh, I don't know. I'm sad. I can't explain it. Whoa! You're so happy! Why? Why are you happy? Oh, I don't know. I just am. I can't explain it. Some might say you're out of touch. I'd say not to overthink it too much.

I think we all have a tendency to relieve stress by getting away from our own mind chatter. Unfortunately, once we return, we may not recall what the chatter was about anyway. Still, the getaway is important.

i have broken out in laughter and or tears when something has consumed my mind, though sometimes i don't share why with anyone and leave them wondering what is so funny/sad...perhaps i overthink too much...i enjoyed this one as i can relate! hugs :)

Maybe you have Overcerebation Disorder. Ha, ha. Just made that one up. (It's the opposite of what Trump has, i.e., Undercerebation disorder---He doesn't think at all. LOL). At any rate, glad you could relate. Best wishes, gw
