Out of My Window

Out of the window flew dreams I once owned, viewed by my presence with a wistful eye, nurturing a hope, that they’d return honed, as transcendental bliss, that makes heart sigh. As I wished, so it was, lust turned to love, now throbbing with joy, deeming mankind one, invoking grace that poured in from above, whereupon inner light shone like the sun. Nothing was lost and everything was gained, by thus releasing both desires and fears, that from ego unchained, my soul unstained, garnered wisdom known but to a few seers. I took the first step and God did the rest ~ Each breath assures me that I’m truly blessed

Ah, a lovely well argued poem. Great sonnet, so well constructed. Wonder when I'll write a sonnet. So difficult now after a month under cure. Great sonnet.
