Our worth?
Under the glazing sun, two birds perch high,
they sing of love and life, sweet yet unsure,
uncertain, one thinks, eternal value of life, we know?,
then asks, “What we hold, in dreams that fly?”
The other sighs, “Our worth’s a quest to endure.” “Right the wrong,” “and mend all who grieve,
Those silent souls who stand in shadows cast and make them believe,
Gazing at skies like a dazzling gem’s glow,
Their journey unknown, yet they're free of fear,
In life’s fleeting dance, it’s the heart that must show.
