Our Reverie
I’ve sailed the sea of you and me,
so many a time before,
and when I sail on our reverie,
I never seem to land on the shore.
Cause this love affair does not compare
to the way you stroke my face-
You’re so debonair sitting over there,
as you await my passionate embrace.
I feel the trust between just us,
as you think of nothing but me-
So, I take afloat on our romantic boat,
and sail along our reverie.
Before the time your soul met mine,
I knew not of an existence-
Our love divine, your soul so kind,
free from insecurity and resistance.
Beauty and passion combined are we.
I hear your laugh and ever aft’
we shall be what lovers can be-
So rich in faith and trust and chaste,
let us see what lovers see.
So, sail me away this cool crisp day,
and we shall set our souls free-
And inside the cabin we shall lay,
as we sail away on our reverie.
