Our Love

It started shaky at the best Full of trials and full of test Full of loneliness and full of tears From being separated for years So what was it made our love grow? Into a thing so few ever know I have believed right from the start I believe with all of my heart That up in heaven love is made The type of love, which never fades And for some reason, I know not why That love was given to you and I Mind you love isn’t always rosy and nice It is full of trials and sacrifice Sometimes love is no less than a test A chance for us to offer our best To be all that we can be Me for you and you for me Tonight I thank the Lord above For the gift of our love
