Our First Duet

Revealing your eyes
Gave birth to my purpose
Awakened, I realized
I was now, above surface

For a brief moment
The others dispersed
I was now a deponent
For magic on earth

You don’t recall
But, baby, I do
They moved to the hall
It was just me and you

Only you and I
In that colorless room
You did not cry
As I sang you a tune

Wide open eyes
To my surprise
You and I both
Were mesmerized

This is a moment
I refuse to forget
No one else can own it
Our first duet

This is sweet. It is good when you find someone to make beautiful music with.
