Cecil B DeMille
Buttons the clown on the lam. . .
dramatic train wreck

***
Poet’s Notes:

Every source I researched said the film was considered one of the top 3 worse choices for Best Picture Oscar.  Interestingly, the train wreck is the most famous scene of the film.  Steven Spielberg cited this film as one of the first he ever saw as a child; and the train crash scene specifically influenced him to get into film making.  So that's pretty good, yeah?

Mark, my mom had a lot of old movies and that was one of them, actually there are parts I thought were very good. I still have it somewhere. I recall the clown always in face paint was a doctor hiding from the law and saved some people thus exposing himself

LOL -Every source I researched said the film was considered one of the top 3 worse choices for Best Picture Oscar. The good thing is there was a dramatic train wreck scene in the movie; and it was that train wreck scene that caused a young Steven Spielberg to want to get into the movie business. So that's pretty good, yeah?
