A group of teenagers were sitting on a fence Discussing which politicians had the most sense, It had to be Mister Trump, one said, Another “too many lies he spread,” Then I heard, “Well, it certainly wasn't Mike Pence!” Written October 18, 2021 [True story...and with sincere apology to Mr. Pence.]

How Pence survived four years working directly under Mr. T. is beyond me. He's quite the deft politician -- and he knows when to keep his mouth shut. (You catch fewer flies that way too). Smiles, Gershon

Unfortunately, you draw a few, too. Remember the fly that lit on his head during the debate? Funny!!!! I go back to my response to Caren below. I can't say anything nice to anyone who had their head up DJT's a**! The real answer is that he survived because he was elected by the American people, and Vice-Presidents cannot be fired by the President. They also have only two jobs to do...1) wait around for their boss to die or become incapacitated...and 2) break ties in the U.S. Senate. That's why most of us can scarcely name ten Vice-Presidents unless you're an old fart like me!

I admired Mike Pence in some ways. He had integrity.

Apparently this kid didn't. Well, I personally had a problem with his obeisance to Donald Trump, but that's a personal, political opinion, which there are lots of these days.
