Opening of the New Year
M-irthful opening of the new year
A-ims to make hearts sing;
R-ise of the sun has begun;
J-anuary first Monday morning.
O-pening of the new year
R-eaffirms the future's promise;
I-t makes a solemn vow,
E-xpressing joy and bliss.
R-enewal of oath is done,
A-fter the shadows disappear;
B-ehold the fireworks display,
O-n opening of the new year.
