Opal

Opal did you hear me,

Oliver passed away.

Oh my dear loving friend,

Overnight you did say.

Over drinking cold beer,

Old guys do their own thing,

Oak barrels were to blame.

a very interesting one, Paula. Notice when Kim does another contest and explains the rules better as she did in her blog today. Otherwise, I think this one would have scored high!

A serious-witty Pleiades, Paula. Excessive drinking is definitely not advisable! ~ Best regards, my friend. // paul

They call the Pleiades star cluster in the constellation Taurus the "seven sisters". You have seven lines here that are short, but sweet in descriptiveness.

Ah, Paula, superb job with this form. I have been reading the various pleiades to see the "O" words each poet chose. I wouldn't want to judge this one! Nice work.
