Only One Shoe
Infinite stories behind only one shoe
found on the street
Bidding adieu
Was it just lost
or dropped in haste
Was it abandoned
Was someone being chased
Maybe there were two and
one had been scattered
The slipper of a bride
fallen off, hadn't mattered
