Many understand some middle class Americans have not participated sufficiently within the economy. One side with a normal human candidate (someone who can think and even laugh) will continue to try to elevate the status of hard working people who have been left behind. The other side with the sociopathic candidate (who can’t laugh for some strange reason) will stir up hatred and promise the moon while extending benefits to billionaires. As his newphew describes it and as more people see his looney behavior, we’ll see more indications of his psychosis.

Why has creepy ego appeared?
D.T. by some sickos was reared!
He fears loss as sin
And smears all to win
But clearly his veneer is...weird

Nette, yes we haven't (as a nation) learned from the past...and we and many others will pay dearly if the worst happens! We're trying to keep ourselves positive. There's a media event (debate) tomorrow, which may help one side or the other.

"more indications of his psychosis" not looking forward to that, Duke. Reality we bear. I was just reading Mike Gentile's "If We Disagree" heart-wrenching how infectious hate really is. Your humor cheers me up! HaHa xo & knowing they'll make a stronger middle class again.

Anaya, you are very insightful. I don't think Mr. Delerium Tremens (D.T.) will be able to find anything that will stick to this ticket. We finally have mainstream and normal people who know what to say and do. It's a real pleasure. I do believe they will continue the sane policy on competition.

No Monopolies! They prevent competition or innovation and create stagnation. With competition you get creativity and innovation. She is a capitalist not a Marxist, blaming WallStreet crash...Kamalacrash! I'll read Matt.

Anaya, I share your hope. There was an opinion piece in the NYT yesterday (link below) by Matt Stoller asking what Kamala Harris thinks about corporate power. Matt raised questions about her advisors who have close ties to Wall Street. I am hopeful that she understands how to serve the middle class, and I think her choice of Tim Walz for VP. telegraphs that she really wants to help all of us. It's certainly more likely we'll see the right thing from her than from the psychotic one. Yes thanks Sara. I personally find that D.T. appears psychotic. That's not to say that I disagree with everything he says or that I agree with K.H. on everything. There's plenty to disagree with on both sides. However, at least she appears to be normal as far as personality goes. The difference seems rather stark.

Thanks Mike, this echoes what many of us feel. However, I hope there is a more complete discussion and airing of the issues at hand. I am looking forward to that at some point in the near future (if it happens). I read some of your work today, and it made a very positive impression in terms of the level of thought and message. Hi there IE!!! I'm glad to be here to receive what you've sent. I'm thinking of shifting gears for a while and writing about love, which I rarely do. Maybe a slightly different take on it. You are such a wonderful presence here. Hope all is well!!!
