One Soul - 4th Place
You were born from the shadow of broken dreams
Tempered by the sound of coarse screams
You were raised climbing your own mountains
Crawling under the slip of flowing fountains
You were taught to hunt your food before you eat
The only thing you had was your heartbeat
You were forced to run before you walk
And carry up the weight of your talk
You are one soul that does not stop
Even if your feet were broken you'd try to hop
You are one soul that does not surrender
You were born to race with the storm and thunder
You trained your mind to dive in your deepest pain
You learned to pass your sorrow without stain
Even if your heart was broken, you learned to keep it as a token
The heart of your soul can't just be shaken
You are one soul that learned to breath on noxious air
You are one soul that learned to climb the highest stair
You are one soul that ran your race before you walked
You are one soul that learned to scream before you talked
Inspired by the song "One Last Soul"
4th place
