The roses were like black ice, dark as night. They lived in a crystal vase were they were fed their daily juice. My heart shivered to see them, they were toxic. Yet I noticed there was one that was still red. One with a healthy pulse. Its green leaves vibrant. Its cobra sting intact. Just one still with a heart. An unmistakable life strength. It was on this one flower I wagered my money. It was this one rose I knew who would take the lead and all the rest would follow.

Yes I did. It sounds one red rose when spoken. Since it is a poem and meant to be read it seemed like an appropriate title. It does not exist until the read rose is read.

I Will Be..... Anyways, this one is awesome! I like the words Black Ice :) By the way, you picked yourself a fine mighty rose. I like how you said the other roses stood no chance... LOL, maybe it was all the toxins... any-mini-miny-moe, you got the cobra by the toe... PS, both Etheree's are awesome...... :) Linda

Not intentional. That is what a double reverse Etheree looks like when you center it. However I was inspired to write about flowers when I saw another double reverse Etheree that looked like a vase.

I love the message in this one. Such a positive one and wow, I love how the shape of it is like a vase for flowers. A pretty poem, my friend.

It's just a poem. The red rose doesn't really exist.

Love the vase shape you created - it would accommodate the only red rose I was ever given by a man! love the imagery in the poem too Maurice with the cobra sting of the thorns - brilliant!!! Hugs Jan xxx
