One of My Best Friends Is Black
Nature of Prejudice by Gordon Alport
"I am not prejudiced and do not discriminate against
Minority Groups. One of my best friends is black and
member of a Minority Group."
Always remember that when I took a course in Prejudice.
remove the debree
from poverty set self free
need college degree
when we saw much gloom
flowers would no longer bloom
spread all over room
in choir singing
with him great voice was bringing
best always being
Running swift stream would be seen;
Pine trees tall with fields so green;
Animals were running all around;
Perfect place to live have found.
Birds in nests did chirp and sing,
While being such a small thing;
Soon off each one starts to fly,
Swiftly high into the blue sky.
Now that they are on their own,
Have become big and fully grown;
With much beauty, sleek and kind,
More food to eat are trying to find.
