One More Night

If I close my eyes I am back in time-
I am deep in Northern Canada on a winding road
the forest is snow covered and dripping with white
and we are driving at night through the falling snow 
but inside the truck it is warm and I am with him
one more time, just one and then I will be gone
leaving him forever-   for this is a love not to be
I know in my heart that to love him is impossible
so why even after all these years do I feel the tears
sliding down my cheek, why do I hear the radio
playing that love song... one more night
