One Moment In Stone

A brush of leg
mirroring mine
spaced delicious

Dust tumbles in air
playing kaleidoscope
to light,
laying transfixed
in scents
of jasmine and hyacinth
enfolding senses
to serenity,
and in the moonlight
as the Grey gum
castes her shadow
supreme

Struck
in Marbled rays
sprung from noon
to moon,
becoming
a tableaux of
lust,
etched indelibly
into the stone
of my soul

Gazing into
microscopic dust,

I sigh
