One Hot Summer Day

On a blistering August day,
hot sweaty kids just wished to play.
Someone (nobody stills knows who)
turned on the hydrant. Water flew!
It flew and like a geyster went
all over the place – Heaven sent!
The kids went crazy. Oh what fun
that one hot day in summer’s sun!
