One Forsaken, Now Treasured

I'm caught in the middle of disarray yet- embrace who I wish to be... caressing life's nocturnal sunrise. but- you bestow an aria of hope that eases my dismay and broken essence. shadows drown me, and you throw the raft into my deserted reverie with accord. for I am but a memory to those I adore, they see me as someone who I feared I would become. (inhaling loneliness) but you come to me gently, wrap me in a sympathetic blanket praying I look in the mirror and see a beautiful reflection- you say, “that is what I see, my love…” so I take your proverbial words and hold onto them like a baby longing for warmth. for I used to be forsaken… YOU MADE ME TREASURED.
