Once Upon a Fairy Tale
Once Upon a Fairy Tale
Once upon a fairy tale
a damsel lived inside a jail,
a crystal tower up so high
it almost touched the clear blue sky.
A wicked witch had chained the door
to hide the girl forevermore.
Never was she ever jolly
drowned in lonely melancholy.
Prince Valiant vowed that in his roaming
he’d reach the tower by daylight’s gloaming.
With one strike of his magic dagger,
the iron locks and chains were scattered.
He rushed up to save the girl
and found something unpredictable.
His heart full of pathos was soon all gone,
as he found out, he was grossly wrong.
The damsel was really the wicked witch
with frosted hair and blackened lips.
She lunged toward him in a kiss
and transformed to a lovely miss.
