On the Road To Nowhere
Traveling down the road to nowhere,
With nowhere I wanted to go.
I met a man with a hat in his hand,
Who worked in a traveling show.
Smiling wide as I gave him a ride,
I asked where do you want to go?
He said I'm running late and It'd be great,
If I got back in time for the show.
Don't you worry if you're in a hurry,
I'll get you back in time for the show.
And if it's okay I'd like to stay,
Because I don't have nowhere to go.
He said that's fine with me and soon you'll see,
The most wonderous spectacular show.
And I'll make a bet you'll never forget,
Once you're there you won't want to go.
I was so excited to be invited,
To this wonderous spectacular show.
Quick as a cat pulled a gun from his hat,
He said I'll take all your money to go.
I pulled to the side still grinning wide,
He said thanks but I have to go.
My face all red and the last thing he said,
I really hope you enjoyed the show!
