On Thanksgiving Day and Always

 
"Give thanks to the Lord for he is good;
his love endures forever."

Heavenly Father, I bow in my thankfulness
        thanks for the beauty of nature
                for my family and my friends
                         even for my sweet kitty cat
I am rich in giving 'cause I believe in you
         and I count my blessing each day
                all the little things and the big 
                         and for the food I share today
thanks for blessing the cozy nest that I call home
       for treasures that grandma left me
               for all the things that were mothers
                          I feel those gone still close to me
and for bestowing me this gift of writing words
        it truly gives my life purpose
                 and for the path of my footsteps
                           for serenity in my heart

        "I am so grateful for what I am and have."

Like Christuraj, I was drawn to your phrase "and for bestowing me this gift of writing words it truly gives my life purpose". You must work that into a single quote and post it there.
