On My Way

As I walk in the fall sunshine, I feel my strength come back It has been a rough few years, surviving what I lack Many things not working and the stress was very high But, I kept on going and I always continued to try Never have I gone through such a long ordeal Although it hasn’t ended, there are changes and better feel I finally see things shifting, sometimes it takes a while It sure feels good to laugh more and walk with a smile There will always be challenges and I am not out of the woods But, it feels good not to pressure myself with all the ‘shoulds’ I am grateful for new things each moment of the day As I will continue to be, while I go on my way! That's the attitude my friend. Just keep looking forward and you will find the past will slowly disappear.

Oh Heidi I have felt for sometime your suffering though sadly unable to help, but by writing and expressing your thoughts can in some ways be therapeutic. I truly wish you well dear friend and am so pleased to hear things are shifting and you are now walking with a smile and as life goes on its way I hope things will continue to improve. Your beautiful uplifting poetry is so inspiring and FAV for me - thank you! With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Here's to a continuation of 'going on my way.' Nicely written upbeat account of a difficult time in your life. Keep the faith (and bury those 'should!') ~ A Fellow Traveler

Ah, Heidi, you did not realize it when you wrote this poem, but you wrote it for both of us. I have been suffering for many months, and it sounds like you are suffering too. Much love and prayers for you today my friend.
