"Old photographs have something that is beautiful and timeless, like works of art." Quote _ Unknown I have tons of photos, boxes inherited: full of old photographs, of people quite unknown; some lovely and some laughs. I have tons of photos, love the ones of babies: and children all dressed up, the weddings and couples; sadly some are beat-up. I have tons of photos, moments frozen in time: forever part of life, though their souls are long gone; hope they had joy not strife. I have tons of photos, love the ones of pets too: a dog, bird, or sweet cat, the old folk and the young; some thin and some quit fat.

Your poem spoke to me, dear Constance. I cherish old photographs and recently was bequeathed with a treasure trove of old photographs. I can almost hear the memories talking to me and feel the energy of the moment in time captured. I agree...they're works of art. I've used many of them in writing memoir vignettes...so gratifying. Am faving this cause it spoke to me :-) hugs, Sara

Oh my, this is such a heartfelt and emotive write dear Constance, old photographs truly unfurl in a unique sense of nostalgia.. Sometimes, bringing those past moments alive in front of our eyes.. Bringing memories, bittersweet ones too.. And the reminiscences of our loved ones, whose souls have departed from this earth..They forever live in our hearts. I love how creatively you've crafted this monchielle stanza poem.. And that photograph that you've shared, is that you? It's so pure and lovely
