Old Lovers

Wrinkly and skinny like the turtle’s necks, got on each other in a blissful daze like lizards, the old paramours have sex: the man, a former fire fighter, lays flat on his stomach, his sweetheart, an ex- astronomer, - on him. He whispers: “Grace, I still love you”. Grace loves him too. Alas, she sleeps. Grace always was a sleepy lass.
