Oh the Truth Is Hard To Find
Listen to poem:
A Politician as misplaced the truth
he can't remember where
Can he find it
no he can’t
Oh the truth is hard to find
He checked is conscience
It wasn't there
Checked his bank balance
But that was full to the brim
Oh the truth is hard to find
he looked in his speeches
Nope it was not in there
Oh the truth is hard to find
Checked the promises he made at election time
As he remembers keeping it in there a while
but all he found was empty words
oh the truth is hard to find
then he thought oh well never mind
I'm sure it will show up come election time
Oh the truth is hard to find.
