Oh, No, I'M Not - Oh, Yes, You Are
He met an actor at the theatre bar;
‘Hey Dame,’ he joked, ‘you ugly hag.’
‘I’m Cinderella,’ snapped the panto star.
‘I’m not a bloomin’ bloke in drag.’
(I think pantomime is mostly British entertainment: women are characters such as Cinderella or Snow White and men dress as hideous ‘dames’. Every panto has the characters shouting out the words used in the title of this piece…)
