Oh Father

Oh Father! my call to You -- but are You not All In All, my eternal family of infinite relations? -- therefore I affirm to You (the unknowable outside Your Love), affirm in the feminine/masculine animate/inanimate substance of my ever evolving being that I am truly sorry for ever rebelling and straying for here I see now my serpentine wrong: thinking that I was separate from You, my sole source of true power My sturdy registry of immortal, core presence throughout a universe having immeasurable rings of encircling time – help me see more clearly help me determine more compassionately ripen in me an en-composing vision for cooperation and homologous activity as the earth and its seeds ascribe to the cycles of the sun and moon our siblings of lights is not Light Your Body of consciousness? Therefore, glow me beam me that I may shine as representative to all as well as a gleam onto Self rekindle and strengthen our conscious path together, newly establishing our journeys my only desire to behold You in every creation, to Love You ever greater….

Your poem illustrates so well that we are a part of Him, which explains why we feel so lost without Him. Best of wishes, Evelyn

Love is what God is about, and it's the most important thing there is. The most important lesson one can learn in life is the one your poem illustrates-that we are a part of Him, and to love Him with all our hearts, and to always stay close to Him. If you do that, everything else in this world will fall into place. Blessings to you, my friend.

Beautiful your understanding and interpretation of this work. It is not about, as you aptly state, begging for forgiveness because I have sinned, or maybe one is having problems and needs to be healed--it is about coming to the realization that, nothing exists outside of God. We are His substance. I finally get it, and realize my foolish, ego, decision to distance myself from His all abiding perfection. It can only be done falsely, consciously--He is us, we are Him. His love and tolerance for our stupidity is astounding, breathtaking. I write this poem not because I have done wrong and have afterthought, that of attempting to smooth things over before my earth-journey is over--I write this poem purely out of love...and my desire to learn how to love as our God loves us, unconditionally. Blessings my friend.

" glow me beam me that I may shine as representative to all as well as a gleam onto Self" This by itself is sheer and utter beautiful poetry Joe.

Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! I love this work. I was starting to think, 'Am I the only one who gets it--or maybe I have failed in my attempt at expressing adoring tribute to our Creator and His/her, whatever you want, Unconditional Love'.

Many think they are above the fray and Perfect. As we mature, we seem to learn more. Rebelling is part of psychic growth, dear Joe. I am with Silent on this. Shalom~ Panagiota xoxo

I agree, leaving out our intuitive gifts, we learn mostly by experience. Thank you, Panagiota. Blessings my friend!!

We all rebel and become distant , but we always go back, especially in adversity.
