OH, DEAR WHAT CAN THE MATTER BE BARRY STEBBINGS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh, dear, what can the matter be? I hope I can flatter thee. Now, what will my patter be, Barry Stebbings? The suggestion you proffered, interestingly, evokes happy memories, I decree! I am so hoping that you too will agree, Barry Stebbings? When I first met my now wife she was suffering much strife, thoughts of ending her life, Barry Stebbings. Oh, dear, what can the matter be? So I asked, she told me, her family. All sorted, indeed, we did marry, Barry Stebbings! Oh, dear, what can the matter be? Hi Line, No the rhyming was worked on, but I will confess Barry's name was originally a stand-alone refrain. As such the poem would not have conformed to his stipulation. Your comment very much appreciated! :-)

Appart from the state of the world. Happens all the time with me. I have been both lucky and unlucky in life, from climbing to diving, from treking to driving, from swimming to sailing, from ailing to failing, from painting to writing, from macro photography to recording all the wildlife I see.
