Oh, Breath

Feet fade into the soil Gravedigger left to dig and to toil The rain comes soft and slow God’s tears everyday a constant flow No more physical form It's already begun to conform Mind fading, now a haze Heads to the sky, with its dense cloud maze Breath grasps to an old name Breath tries desperately to place blame Unfortunate demise Has its truly strict earthly born ties With one last fleeting glance Mourners leaving as if in a trance They leave to go home, home And Breath is left alone to roam, roam
