it’s been so long
your silence deafening

we’ve become strangers
lurking in stifling
indifference
of meaningless
irreconcilable
emptiness

in stagnant stillness
the cord cut
dried up
the bond
disintegrated

silence can be deafening - can spell the end to a relationship when couples no longer are communicating:-( even though hubby is away all week we speak every day and text and mail, he's not back now until 14th June will be tough as he's been home every weekend until; next weekend but we are coping fine and his treatment is going well:-) hugs jan xx
