Hi! Your amazing poems arrived in my email yesterday. I like them all, especially this one. It speaks volumes in our heavily anti-immigrant political climate, reminding us all that hey, our ancestors were immigrants too, and that today’s refugees could have just as easily been us. Thank you for writing and posting this. Congrats on your lifetime membership.
