I love my socks, all colours and design The brighter the nicer, simply sublime Socks warm feet, cosy and snug as a rug Fabulous for dancing the jitterbug. Many times I find there’s holes in one sock I wonder should I keep the odd one in stock Do I throw the odd sock away, oh no I wear odd socks and merrily do so. One may suggest wearing odd socks is strange But look how one’s money would slip down drain Getting extra wear out of an odd sock In these days of inflation odd socks rock. So guys and gals hold onto your odd socks And match them up with your shirts or your frocks Bestow quirky brightness to every day Nevermore to throw an odd sock away.

Pangj, I know what you’re going through, I had a septic hip at age 11, suffered for years and had a left knee replacement at 54 as it had worn out with having taken the strain off my right hio for all those years, my hip got replaced two years after the knee did. Beryl

Since I broke my thigh in eight placess, i am not allowed to walk aroung in socjks,. I can wear socks in bed, when its cold, yes, my ankles and legs sare quite weak. By sllippers I shuould have said athletic MaryJanes i have tose in metallic and varied classuc colors. Slippers are only to wear wgen sitting or leds are raised. Ne brojeb ked was enough.))) pangie xx

Hello Beryl, It is something to ponder. I did losze a sock and i could not find it. By the end of the week i did find it under the bed. It was almlost used as a duster. Enjouy your day my friend. /Darlene/

Hi Darlene, odd socks do make good dusters, put one on your hand like a glove and whizz round removing all traces of dust. Thank you, Beryl

I'll certainly take heed of your words, but i am always loathe to the throw the remaining sock away, now I know what to do with it and how about, when you put a pair of socks in the wash but only one comes out, 'the sock world' has taken it, no other explanation.
