OCTOBER SUN
The October Sun shone brightly
In a sky of azure blue
It hung high in the heavens
A beautiful sight to view
But alas, it carried a message
Frost is on the way
It will soon appear on the pumpkins
And not disappear until May
But we must recall there are seasons
Each with its very own plan
But the October Sun is the grandest
For the thirty-one days of its span
It only has one rival
That is the Harvest Moon
Both will disappear in time
And be replaced by the warmth of June
