October Fire and Ice

Burnt orange maples seem to be set ablaze
as smokey silver mist lifts in the distance.
Auburn flare-shaped swirls form a windswept maze
and cascade playfully as they slow dance.

As smokey silver mist lifts in the distance,
glacial crevices receive a fresh snow-swept blending
and cascade playfully as they slow dance,
settling gently like the sun's rays descending.

Glacial crevices receive a fresh snow-swept blending.
Auburn flare-shaped swirls form a windswept maze,
settling gently like the sun's rays descending.
Burnt orange maples seem to be set ablaze.
