Ocean of Troubles, Shore of Grace
The horizon stretches, endless blue,
A vastness mirroring the dread I knew.
Problems arose, a tempest unforeseen,
And I, a fragile vessel, lost between.
The waves they crashed, a symphony of might,
Each crest a shadow stealing all the light.
The shore, a whisper, distant and unclear,
And in that ocean's heart, surrender felt so near.
The will to navigate, a tattered sail,
My weary arms began to slowly fail.
To drift, to yield, to let the currents guide,
Seemed gentler than this struggle, deep inside.
But then, a stillness in the roaring spray,
A warmth that chased the chilling doubt away.
A presence felt, though form I could not see,
A strength that flowed and gently lifted me.
A beacon shone, a star in darkest night,
Guiding my gaze towards a hopeful light.
The ocean's vastness did not hold its sway,
For in that moment, grace had cleared the way.
Though trials rise like waters deep and wide,
And weariness may tempt us to just ride
The tide of sorrow, lost in deep despair,
Remember this: a greater love is there.
A hand unseen, a power strong and true,
Will navigate the storms and see you through.
So when the ocean of your troubles swells,
Look up, dear heart, for God forever dwells.
