The soft mesmerizing glisten The waves’ journey holding no end The warm whispers of the wind The horizon shows when to start again It indulges us in its peace It's everlasting plain beauty We hope it will never end We hope to come back and see it again As I watch the sky so bright I can hear the sound of the seagulls They are just all mingling As the day goes on the tide goes out Washing all the shells back to their mound The sky gets darker as I sit alone I walk back to my home with stone
