Obsession Confession

She shared with me her confession: "I used to have an obsession..." I saw him as a shining superstar, and believed he was good, not bad; The infatuation I had nearly drove me mad. When I opened my eyes and looked inside I found it wasn't as handsome as the outside, Once I uncovered who he truly was he didn't seem the same to me anymore. I admit I was quite naïve to have fallen for an attractive face. From now on, I will retain my eyes in their proper place, And I will pause and think before I look at a man and wink. I am now alert and wide awake, I learned a lesson from my mistake."
