my first thought was about a Twilight Zone episode. Then I realized this poem has a deep, thought-provoking component to it. I can echo the feeling with waking up at this point in my life and realizing I've been living in a world in which I truly did not exist, whether of my own choosing or not. Deep stuff here. Well said.
