Obedience

Sometimes the mountain God gives us to scale,
will reach its pinnacle in a towering sky.
Though seeming insurmountable, to others they pale,
But knowing it’s His will, we don’t question why.
God knows each heart and the times when tempted,*
and He always leaves for us, a way of escaping.
God loves us, but from mountains, we’re not exempted,
In life, God uses mountains as a way of reshaping.
* 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
